Sector: Health ode of financing: Loan The Republic of Suriname through the Ministry of Finance has received financing in the amount of US$ 2,200,000.00 (US Dollars two million and two hundred thousand equivalent from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Feasibility study and detailed engineering design for New Hospital on the premises of the Academic Hospital, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for consulting services to be procured under this project. The project will include the following: Consultancy for feasibility and DED: Provide the Ministry of Health (MOH), AZP and IsDB, with a feasibility study and complete Architectural and Engineering (A/E) consultancy services for the design of a new hospital, inclusive of medical equipment and furniture, automated hospital information systems for patient records and departments, training facility, main storage facility, skills lab, an energy and waste treatment plant and a three hundred (300) car garage on the existing AZP premises. Procurement of contracts financed by the Islamic Development Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the Guidelines for the Procurement of Consultant Services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (current edition).1 Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the Islamic Development Bank-s international competitive bidding (ICB) or international competitive bidding - member countries (ICB/MC) procedures and for contracts for consultancy services will be announced, as they become available, in IsDB Website, UNDB Online, De ware tijd and Times Suriname.
