- Expression of Interest are invited for Supervision Consulting Services The consulting services (“the Services”) include services for technical Supervision of the rehabilitation of existing schools, teacher housing and the construction of new classrooms and teacher housing in the district of Brokopondo (6) and Para (1). The Ministry of Education Science and Culture now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The EOI-s shall be reviewed on the basis of the following: Firm Proven experience of the consulting firm in at least three (3) similar projects in the last seven (7) years: statement/ list of completed and on-going government or private contracts Proven experience of successfully completed at least one (1) technical supervision contracts of similar nature Experience of the consulting firm in other works/assignments financed by international organizations within the last ten 10) years Experience managing logistics to successfully work with rural communities. Staff Team Leader -100% bilingual English/Dutch. Bachelor-s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering and with at least ten (10) years of professional experience in Architecture or Civil Engineering in the areas of engineering and/or architecture design Quantity Surveyor - to provide budgets, bills of quantities, performing risk analysis evaluations, cost control, making valuations, writing reports and to provide advice and forecasts about costs - a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent certification and at least five (5) years- experience in working with projects of this nature. Resident Construction Supervisors (4 minimum) - Technical Degree or BSc degree in construction related field and not less than 2 years relevant experience Environmental Expert - Bachelor-s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Architecture with specialization or related field with not less than 2 years relevant experience. Construction Manager - a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and at least five (5) years- experience in managing projects of this nature.
